Ruzzini Palace Hotel

This Venetian hotel is a perfect blend of timeless charm and modern luxury. The classic Venetian décor, from Murano glass to elegant frescoes, is beautifully complemented by contemporary comforts in the rooms. What truly stood out was the staff—exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready with helpful recommendations. It’s a rare gem that captures the essence of Venice while offering top-notch service and modern amenities. Highly recommend!

Water taxi has direct access to lobby and on the other side of the hotel, you have direct ground access to the campo Santa Maria Formosa where restaurants, shops and à pharmacie is located. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from any attraction and lots of restaurants on the way. What makes this place memorable is how your away from high touristic traffic but so close to the action. We got a room with balcony and just savoured the tranquility and truly enjoyed the day to day life of Venice. The reception staff was most friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and yes, they serve a great mug of real American coffee. Take my advice, take the optional taxi with guide to bring you to the Ruzzini Palace. Roberta greeted us at the train station with our name on a sign, had the a private water taxi waiting for us and escorted us to the hotel in our 20 minute ride while we enjoyed the sights . Worth every Penney for the VIP experience. The hotel decor is a true Venice experience but with modern amenities. Bed & pillows were very comfy, lots of 220v plugs.

The check in process was so simple and friendly - the staff here is exceptional. They gave me an incredible room with a view of the piazza, and they had a lot of recommendations for where to go, how to make it happen, etc. I also had a glass of wine in the bar one evening and the bartender was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the drinks, the location, the trains, basically everything we discussed. I had a great American Breakfast on the way out, and they were so proactive in making sure I had everything I needed.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location for exploring. It’s a water taxi ride away from the station or you can walk but it’s a 20 minute walk over lots of bridges. The hotel has its own ‘dock’ so that you can arrive and leave by water taxi if you wish. Bedrooms were well air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. I would hesitate to return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel staff are excellent. I had a few mishaps that the front desk staff were able to assist me with and resolve. They were always willing to assist which made my stay that much more enjoyable. I loved the artwork displayed throughout the hotel. It is a beautiful property close (15 min walk) to all the major attractions. Highly recommended!
